Anyone else dealing with legal notices from Salinas Law Group?

I’m hoping to get some advice or hear from others who might be in the same boat. I recently started receiving legal notices from Salinas Law Group regarding an old debt, and honestly, it’s been pretty stressful.

At first, I wasn't sure if it was legit or just another scare tactic, so I've been trying to do my homework. I know I need to ask for debt validation within that 30-day window to make sure everything is accurate, but the letters and calls are ramping up, and it feels overwhelming. I've been documenting everything they send, just in case.

Has anyone else here dealt with them? How did you handle it? Did you find them aggressive, or were they willing to work with you? I'm trying to figure out if I should try to work out a payment plan, or if I need to get a consumer attorney involved to make sure my rights are being protected under the FDCPA.

I really don't want this to escalate, but I also don't want to get taken advantage of if something isn't right. Any shared experiences or advice would be really helpful right now. Thanks for listening.
