Why have we been getting so much more spam in the forums lately?

The spam bots have finally begun to figure out how to get past the forum's registration captcha, and we have yet to migrate the forums to using the same accounts as the main site (largely because we're still using them to coordinate with the Dark Yogi editor, and don't want to change them up until that task is out of the way).
