I’ve been exploring how platforms like brumeblog comYour text to link here… fit into today’s internet culture, where short-form content and algorithm-driven feeds dominate almost everything.
Even though social media is everywhere, I still feel long-form blogging offers something different—more depth, more personality, and less distraction.
What stands out to me is how blogs still give creators full control over their voice, without needing to constantly follow trends or algorithms.
At the same time, I wonder if blogging is shifting rather than disappearing. Maybe it’s becoming more niche and community-focused instead of mass-audience driven.
Curious what others think:
Do you still read blogs regularly, or has your attention fully shifted to short-form platforms?
