My fiancé and I are finally planning our honeymoon for October and Morocco has been at the top of our list forever. We're trying to balance seeing a lot with also having those special romantic moments that make a honeymoon memorable, and we've decided to go a bit bigger on accommodations than we normally would. The desert part is non-negotiable for both of us but we're trying to decide between doing a shorter trip with a really nice camp or a longer trip with more standard places. I found this 3 day tour marrakech to fes luxury desert camp option that includes a night at what looks like an incredible place with proper beds, private bathrooms, and even dinner under the stars with musicians. It's definitely more than we planned to spend but it also covers the transport between the two cities so we're saving on that leg of the journey. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that the luxury camps are actually worth the premium and not just a marketing thing where you pay triple for basically the same experience with a slightly nicer tent. Also curious about the food situation at these nicer camps, is it significantly better than the standard ones? We're both food people so that matters to us. And for anyone who's done this exact route in three days, does it feel too rushed or do you still get a good sense of the desert and the stops along the way?
