Hello, friends, fans and gaming family! Instead of the weekly Shadows Over Sol 2e update, this week we're posting our quarterly Tab Update. We're roughly halfway through the fourth quarter of 2025 and we've been busy!
Since the last quarterly update, we've published two supplements: Fantastic Exploits, a compilation of short scenarios for Dime Adventures, and Dead State, a look at the undead citadel of Polopan, for Age of Ambition. Members of our Patreon have also received The Satrap's Ploy, a one-sheet scenario for Age of Ambition. It will be released to the general public in the upcoming weeks.
Most of our work, however, has been behind the scenes getting Shadows Over Sol 2e, and its unlocked extras, ready for release. So far we've completed the digital work for: the character sheet, the System Reference Document (SRD) site, the edge tokens, the Sol poster map, Quick-Start and the GM screen. The core book's editing is complete. Physical proofs have been approved and orders placed for the Sol dice and edge tokens.
Work on the playing cards, new art and Foundry VTT support is in progress. Late pledges are open!
Meanwhile, the consequence cards, VTT pack, Prison Ship scenario, The Genesis Door scenario and the core book's layout all wait in the queue.
Looking to the future, the goal is to have the playing cards and new art wrapped up by the end of November. Foundry VTT support, the VTT pack and the consequence cards should follow in early December. That leaves the core book and the two adventure supplements, which should be ready sometime in late December through January.
Beyond that things get a little more murky. We've been so heads down working on Shadows Over Sol 2e, that we haven't yet finalized plans beyond it. But in January we do have a meeting scheduled to do that exactly that.
I can say that our Patreon will continue into December and then 2026. We have another Age of Ambition supplement, an undead bestiary, coming in December, and at least two more releases for that game line coming in 2026. We also plan to support Shadows Over Sol 2e with a variety of releases once the core book's generally available.
Beyond that, we've done no actual writing, but we do have ideas and a few vague outlines. I'm sure I'll be able to post more about it once we've had time to meet in January, and once fulfilling Shadows Over Sol 2e is no longer on our plate.
