Merc is just an asshole most of the time. Finals suck…my calc final is going to be a bitch.

Calc 1? If so, you should know that you can do definite integrals on your calculator. That can save some time.

Other than that, it doesn't seem to be that rough, at least at KU.

Naw, Calc II…and I'm doing the review and like I remember doing the stuff and everything it's just that I can't seem to be able to do it anymore.

CHEM UPDATE:

Now, both teachers are in france. Won't be back until early next moth. I have to email them both and see what i can get.

CHEM UPDATE:

Christer emails me telling me that he is in france, but to ask anyway for his help. Here are a few emails.

After he congratulated me:
Thank you very much, I appreciate that.
But I'll have to also thank you for all the help you gave me in
your
office, without it, I don't think I would of understood much of
Acid-Base reactions and Organic Chemistry.
Regardless of all this, I do have a big problem. I think you can
help.
I waited by your office today, for almost an hour, and you never
showed up, so I decided i'd contact you via webmail. I was wanting to
know if we could set up an appointment, anytime is good for me, today or
tomorrow or whenever, so I could have a breif discussion with
> you.

His final response:
Safa,

Here goes….

Grades are never open for negotiation.

Ask Weston????

Good news though is that you have, according to your grade book, over
80% (isn't this true?) which would give you the grade you deserve, i.e.
a B grade.

Also, I here mostly on “business”..

Regards,

xxxxxx

So, i guess i never had anything to worry about, but maybe my math skills. And, if you read closely, you can actually hear me sucking up. What a weeleef.

…but i still have a pit-of-my-stomach feeling something may go awry….

Sounds like you did more than just suck UP. All that “help” in his office…

Just kidding. Unless you did. In which case, shame on you. Those of us without hot bods can't do that sort of thing.

And yes, I graduated. Like a cylinder! Ha! Chem joke!

Home to renovate my parent's basement and raise support for next year. Next year, I'm doing an internship with Chi Alpha Student Ministries - training to be a pastor.

Update: I just saw Mi: III. Good movie. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Then I went to Barnes and Noble. Got a book on the origin of the Celts, Herodotus' “The Histories”, Augustine's “City of God” and an H.P. Lovecraft collection. Huzzah!
